Online Platforms Reaction Numerous buyers and vendors are posting online stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category than originally posted as a result of the reclassification. The company said the updated approach better aligns with similar services. They have suggested members to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated. Size Classification Modifications Before the change, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10. The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10. In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18. Member Experiences A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder". "Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. Another user, from Glasgow, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22. "Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she stated. Manual Updates Another shopper, located in England, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing". "For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she explained. Marketplace Information The platform boasts over 100 million users, including 18 million in the UK. It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
